Your child has an advantage at Davidson Day: a college counseling office that takes the guesswork out of the college admission process. Small graduating classes allow us to spend a great deal of time with each student as they research colleges, create a balanced list of options, plan for standardized tests, write college essays, work through the financial aid process, and make a final choice that’s a good personal fit. At Davidson Day, the college application process begins long before 11th grade, when students typically start thinking about visiting the counseling office. Our 9th and 10th graders take part in college visits and are actively engaged in planning how they will present themselves to college admissions officers. It’s one more way our educational approach prepares students for a successful college experience and life beyond. |
