Acting. Expressing. Connecting. Critiquing. Playwriting. Performing. Our Upper School theatre classes at Davidson Day School involve all those things and more. In grades 9 through 12, we strengthen the techniques and fundamental skills established in previous grades. At the same time, we begin a more intense exploration of theatre as a creative and deeply personal form of expression. The highlight of the year: Students work together to create and perform an original theatre piece, which is a great source of pride for them and the entire school.
