The Giggle Games
Get Outside! Session 1: June 4 – June 8 School's out!! It's time to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather and fresh air. Meet new friends, play new games, and kick the summer off right. Campers will be going on nature hikes, learn some knot tying, making solar ovens to cook snacks, learning about fire safety in the woods, and toast s'mores over a campfire. Campers are sure to have a blast each day discovering our own backyard wonders.
Game Show Mania Session 2: June 11 - June 15 Who wants to be a millionaire? We ALL do! In addition to all of our usual weekly activities, each day campers will have a chance to participate in a different game show. Daily games include Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune, Camp DDS Double Dare (Are you ready to get slimed?), Are you Smarter Than a Fifth Grade Camper?, Jeopardy, and Deal or No Deal. Not to mention we'll start each day with a Minute to Win It competition. Let's make a deal, you're bound to have a blast.
Camp Decades Session 3: June 18 – June 22 Come join us on this groovy journey through time. Each day is dedicated to a different decade. Campers will be creating peace signs in art, tie-dying t-shirts, playing a little beach-blanket bingo, and rocking out in a Beatles Rock Band Competition. Our week ends in the fifties where campers will slick back their hair or put on a poodle skirt, and twist the afternoon away at our sock hop. Who will be the best Elvis impersonator?
The Mighty Jungle Session 4: June 25 – June 29 All of your favorite times of the year are rolled into this one week. Each day of the week will be dedicated to celebrating a different holiday. Activities will include a leprechaun treasure hunt, valentines exchange, an egg hunt, a Halloween costume contest, and trick-or treating. We will also have a countdown to New Year's complete with a toast and party, and end the week with a Fourth of July carnival.
Summer Hollidaze Session 5: July 2 – July 6 This week is especially for our animal lovers. Campers will learn about animals in different regions of the world, make animal masks in art, go on a scavenger hunt, and explore mystery animal tracks. Of course our week wouldn't be complete without visits from our favorite critters.
Into the Blue Session 6: July 9 – July 13 Let's go fly a kite, and while we're at it, make a splash! Campers will make and fly their own kites, set off bottle rockets, and partake in a shaken soda contest. To cool off in the afternoons, campers will enjoy playing sponge tag, having water balloon fights, and racing in the bucket brigade. Who will win the raft building competition? Wrap up the week by slipping & sliding your way down the giant inflatable waterslide!
Camp Survivor Session 7: July 16 – July 20 Are you up for the challenge? Campers will be divided into tribes and be challenged daily with puzzles and events. Events include ropes challenges, eating bugs and solving riddles, just to name a few. Teams will earn points for their successful completion of challenges. One lucky team will find the immunity idol and not lose team points at tribal council. Who will be the ultimate survivors!?
The Giggle Games Session 8: July 23 – July 27 Do you have what it takes to earn the gold? Each year, this is one of our camper's favorite weeks! Each day campers will partake in different athletic, and some not so athletic, events and competitions. Some games include a triathlon, long jump, foxtail throw, hurdles, soccer, football toss, a hula hooping contest and many more. Our week will end with an awards ceremony and BBQ to celebrate our camper's successes!
